Lectures and Classes

I have been sewing for over 30 years and have experience working for quilt shops in different capacities and started writing and selling my own patterns a few years ago. I have been published in three magazines with one more coming in the fall. I currently work as sales rep for Riley Blake Designs and love that I get to play with fabric and color everyday. Recently I became a Certified Stripology Instructor. I am excited to be sharing all my experiences with you by offering lectures and classes. See my list of classes offered below. Classes Offered

Master Your Stripology Ruler

Take your Stripology ruler beyond just cutting strips, squares and rectangles. I will guide you through the book showing you all the different techniques. When you are done with the class you will know how to use your rulers and tools like a pro. This class is perfect for beginners.

Katie

Katie uses assorted 10" squares and a fast and fun disappearing block technique in the piecing and cutting with the Stripology or Stripology Squared rulers by GE Designs. This is perfect for a confident beginner.

Billie

Billie is a fun versatile pattern that has many options for coloring and layouts. It looks good scrappy and coordinated. Make it with assorted 10" squares, using the Stripology Squared or the Stripology XL ruler by GE Designs. This class is perfect for beginners.

Sprite

Learn how to Stripologize my Sprite pattern. Sprite uses half square triangles which is perfect for stripologizing. It helps take the daunting tasking of squaring up HST so much faster and enjoyable. The class is great for a confident beginner and advanced quilter.
