This pattern came to be when I was trying to figure out what to do with some of my favorite print fabrics. I wanted to show off the large scale patterns, as well as a few fussy-cut worthy fabrics. The smaller squares are great for coordinating smaller prints or your favorite basics. It can be adopted to use embroidered blocks for the centers.
 
LOLA comes in 3 different sizes, Baby (41" x 55"), Throw (55" x 68.5") and Large Throw (68.5" x 82"). If you want more variety in your blocks you can use more or less fabrics than what is listed in the cutting instructions. This could be a good time to go through your home collection and use up what you have.
 
This pattern skill level is Advanced Beginner. You must have basic quilt knowledge such as knowledge of accurate cutting, straight line piecing and can use consistent 1/4" seam allowances.
